Corporate Banking Northern England Team Moves to New Office in Manchester

Our Corporate Banking team for Northern England has moved to new offices in the heart of Manchester.  The move is as a result of the expansion of our Corporate Banking Services to serve the continued growth in the North including the Northern Powerhouse market. Reinvigorated in 2018, our Northern team originates transactions to targeted larger corporate customers typically involving debt levels above £10m on a bilateral, club or syndicated debt basis.

Headed by Richard Allinson, our market facing relationship team have over 50 years’ experience between them of the Northern corporate markets. Similar to the model across the rest of Bank of Ireland, the team is focused on forming deep mutually beneficial relationships with customers.

Commenting on the move, Richard Allinson, Head of Corporate Banking, Northern England said: “We are delighted to relocate to these new offices and are very excited about the future for Bank of Ireland in the North.  Having a local team provides greater opportunity and availability for early engagement and prompt decision making for Corporate customers in the Northern Powerhouse region. We have had a very busy 2018 working both bilaterally and alongside customers’ existing banking partners in a collaborative and proactive manner. Our ambition is to be easy to do business with, providing high credit quality, while beating deadlines along the way and being strongly aligned with Bank of Ireland’s UK sector experts in Business Services, Consumer Industries, Hotels, Industrials, Media & Technology.”
