Bank of Ireland is delighted to establish a relationship with Village Hotels as part of its updated financing facility
Bank of Ireland has established a relationship with Village Hotels as part of its updated £400m financing facility. Village Hotels is a portfolio of 29 destination style hotels spread throughout the UK primarily in regional areas with attractive demographics for the Village offerings.
Each Village Hotel combines accommodation, with food and beverage outlets, events and meeting space, and a full-size health and fitness club – collectively representing an “around the clock” offering for hotel guests and local consumers alike. On average, each Village sees more than 1,000 visitors a day.
Commenting on the transaction, Village Hotels CEO Paul Roberts said: “We really appreciate Bank of Ireland’s support. The team clearly understand the sector and we look forward to building the relationship.”
This sentiment was echoed by David Willis, Head of Consumer Industries at Bank of Ireland saying: “We are delighted to be able to work with Paul and the strong team at Village Hotels. They have a great portfolio of destination regional UK hotels supported by experienced owners in KSL and a management team, with a demonstrable track record of delivery.”
